I am an Assistant Professor in the Strategic Management Department at IESE Business School where I lecture on strategy, geopolitics, and sustainability in IESE’s MBA programs.
Before joining the faculty at the business school, I was the leader of the Global Automotive Practice for Heidrich & Struggles, one of the leading Executive Search firms in the world. As a headhunter, I constantly met with executives and spoke with them about the choices they made in their professional lives and their hopes for the future.
I left that job to join the faculty at IESE Business School, where I had done my own MBA many years before.
At IESE business school I have become the go-to person on the topic of careers. I not only give advice to students and former students, but am also routinely asked to see different people of all ages by my colleagues on the faculty. Over the years I estimate that I have spoken to something like three thousand people about their careers. What I have learned is that the things people need to weigh and consider are very different than they were just a few years ago.
Career Management in Turbulent Times offers what I have learned about managing careers and the changing world in one place and free of charge.
