    Another very exciting space will be bioplastics and other elements of a circular economy. If you think this is crazy talk, The Coca Cola company has already made itself neutral in terms of water usage in 2015 and has made a public commitment to achieving zero waste by 2030!

    One scenario that I think is very possible is for concern about the environmental impact of all goods and services to increase over time touching on supply chain management as well as marking and distribution.

    In the 1950s and 1960s, for example, the world largely phased out returnable bottles for disposable cans and plastic containers. My guess is that plastic will be phased out over time and returnable containers will make a comeback, as will other aspects of the circular economy.
